This is a photo of the very rare endangered White Kokio Hibiscus (Hibiscus Arnottianus Subspecies Immaculatus).
I was lucky enough to find this perfect set of White Kokio Hibiscus. Personally, I have seen dozens of different species Hibiscus both in the wild and in botanical gardens but the Kokio Hibiscus is really a stunning species. The stamen actually has little pink crystals on it and the anthers on the Kokeo Hibiscus are much longer and more pronounced on this species than almost any other Hibiscus. This really is a beautiful flower that hopefully with some help will come off of the Federal endangered species list.
The Kokio Hibiscus is considered to be the rarest of all the Hibiscus species and is listed as an endangered species and protected by the Federal Government. The two native Hawaiian White Hibiscus are the only species of Hibiscus in the world that has a fragrance. There are about 300 species in the world that are in the genus Hibiscus.

Eric, Beautiful floral photo of this kokio hibiscus, the way you have captured the details of the interior of the pedals in fantastic along with the budding bud coming straight towards the camera. Remarkable job at blurring out the background so that the hibiscus stands out as the main subject. Excellent photo with amazing details, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted
