This image could not possibly be more endearing or adorable, Eric. The shadows, to me, hint of the time when she will be too-soon grown, perhaps with little ones of her own.

Artist's Description

This photo was taken of my 1 year old daughter when she was set down on the sand for the very first time. Needless to say she did not know what to make of it. She started moving here right foot and watched the sand leave a mark where her foot was. Everything is new to kids so it is always fun to see them react to things like cold, tart, sweet and things like sand. As we all know sand sticks to you like glue and she had it all over her when the trip to the beach was done.

If nothing else this photo can remind all of us of the simple times when the biggest concern in our life that day was what are we having dinner. :)
